Cards for Veterans AND the Ice Age Trail Program

by West Bend Library on 2018-11-09 11:00:00

The West Bend American Legion Ray Dickop Post will again be sponsoring a “Cards for Veterans” program. The event will take place at the West Bend Community Memorial Library starting on Monday, November 19 and ending on Friday, December 14.

“The program is designed to involve the public to express their gratitude to veterans by visiting the display at the library,” said project coordinator Jim Maersch. “Visitors will be asked to select a Christmas card and write a message thanking a veteran for their services.”

The sealed cards will then be delivered to area veterans. There is no cost for this service. Donations of Christmas cards are appreciated and may be dropped off at the library. You can drop them off with attention to “Sara Davister” at the library. We hope to see you between November 19th and December 14th! Also watch for an announcement on the library’s Facebook page.
