Library Outreach Services

At the West Bend Library, our commitment is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has access to our wide range of services and materials. Whether you are homebound, at an assisted living or at an extended care facility, we will help provide you with the materials you want and need. Our Outreach Services Librarian will also work with activity directors and therapists to provide materials that will assist them with their programming for residents.

Please reach out to our librarian to explore the full spectrum of materials available and to schedule a convenient visit to your home or facility. We will work together to arrange a flexible delivery and pickup schedule that aligns with your needs and preferences.

Patrons Park

Welcome to Patrons Park, where a vision blossomed in 2011 to transform an empty space into a vibrant community hub. Inspired by the charm of a community gathering space, this green oasis at the corner of 7th Avenue and Walnut Street is now a cherished meeting spot, adorned with a butterfly garden, water features, chess tables, and the delightful Musical Frog Trio sculptures by Charles and Beau Smith of Atlanta. Bank One of West Bend donated the trio to the West Bend Friends of Sculpture in 1999.

Join us in this evolving greenspace that enhances West Bend’s community spirit, creating a cultural district with an enchanting outdoor reading area, horticultural learning opportunities, and a serene haven for all. Discover a place where the library’s legacy of exceptional service meets the heart of our city, offering a backdrop for library events, picnics, and cherished moments in the heart of West Bend.

Puzzle Exchange & Table

We have a rotating selection of jigsaw puzzles available for the public to work on. Once one puzzle is completely assembled, we put out a fresh one. It’s a refreshing place to relax, keep your mind sharp, and meet other puzzlers!

You can also be a part of the puzzle exchange. Take a puzzle and leave any puzzles you are no longer using. Get lost in your next puzzle at home!
