Educator Empowerment
Harnessing Knowledge at Your Library

Librarian Visits
Our Youth Services librarians visit classrooms, attend career day events, and staff tables at resource fairs as often as we can. Classroom visit topics can include upcoming library events, how to get and use a library card, how to use the public library for classroom projects, get excited about the Summer Reading Program, and more! Contact us to schedule your visit in advance!
Email Terika Koch (Preschool-4th grade) for more information: tkoch@westbendlibrary.org

Library Tours
Contact a librarian to schedule a guided tour of the library today! Tours can be scheduled in groups of 25 or less and typically takes around 30 minutes.
Email Terika Koch (Preschool-4th grade) for more information: tkoch@westbendlibrary.org

Teacher Library Cards
Select West Bend area schools allow their teachers the opportunity to obtain a Teacher Library Card. Teacher cards allow access to physical and online resources for classroom use. Cards are kept at the West Bend Library and regular loan periods and fines apply.
Principals are required to submit a signed school agreement form to the West Bend Library. Teachers may obtain an application for a Teacher Library Card from their principal after the school agreement form is submitted. Teachers may request multiple copies of a book via email to the library at libref@westbendlibrary.org.
