The Friends of the Library is a group of dedicated supporters and enthusiasts who work to support the mission and services of the West Bend Library and engage in related educational, charitable, and cultural activities.

Who We Are

The Friends of the Library is an independently governed 501(c)(3) organization. All memberships and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What We Do

Our organization is dedicated to promoting, supporting, and raising funds for Library programs and other items not covered by the library budget. We do this by volunteering at the Library and Friends events, accepting gifts, endowments, bequests, and memorials from individuals, groups, and businesses.

How We Help

We support our community by sponsoring programs and speakers, purchasing library wish lists items, and sponsoring the Free Coffee Friday program.

Membership Benefits

When you become a member you will receive updates about our activities, receive early access to the twice a year book sale, and you will be supporting the library programs and events.

We have annual Membership Dues of $10 at the first of each year.

Meetings & Events

The Friends meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 in the adult reading area of the Library. Not sure if you’re ready to join? Maybe you want to check us out first? Feel free to stop in at a meeting. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

In addition, be sure to check out our activities on our Facebook Page Friends of the West Bend Library and check keep an eye on the Library Calendar Events.
